Abi Bankole, CPA, CGMA, ACA, MBA

Abi Bankole, a big-four accounting firm alumnus, is the managing partner of Bankole, Okoye & Associates, P.C., a Houston-based full-service public accounting firm. As the managing partner, he coordinates and provides technical oversight and quality control reviews for all of the firm’s engagements.

He has over 28 years of experience in financial & business management, financial statement & compliance audits, financial accounting & reporting, agreed-upon procedures, budgets & budgetary controls, preparation of full disclosure financial statements, system & operational audits, design (including evaluation and implementation) of financial & internal control measures, policies and procedures, business processes & strategy, tax planning and compliance, and financial statements review and compilation.

He has extensive knowledge in performing and managing financial statement and compliance audits conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards for private companies, nonprofit organizations, local governments, colleges and universities, foundations, healthcare agencies and other nonprofit and governmental agencies.

Godwin Okoye, CPA, CGMA, ACA - Partner

Mr. Okoye has more than 28 years of experience in accounting, auditing, consultancy, and business. He currently specializes in providing audit services, and in developing and implementing procedures that assist clients with proper reporting of financial information, efficient managerial functions, improvements in internal controls, process improvements, enhancement of operational efficiency, compliance with laws and regulations, and effective governance, and interpretation and implementation of sound policies and procedures.

Mr. Okoye focuses his efforts on customer satisfaction by adopting a client-focused business philosophy. He is committed to long lasting client relationships that are built on trust.

Mr. Okoye is directly involved in project administration and performance, quality control reviews, human capital development, and presentation of reports to management teams, Boards and Board Committees.

As a member of the Finance and Audit Committee of a local nonprofit organization's Board, he also brings experience from that perspective in serving his clients.

Mr. Okoye also has experience from a big-4 firm.
